Gregers from Polar Geographic has supported Christoffer on his journey to becoming an expedition guide in the polar regions.

Christoffer already has extensive experience as an organizer and tour leader for young people around the world — including destinations like Uganda, Tanzania, Cambodia, China, Iceland, Greenland, Bulgaria, and Norway. He also brings maritime experience as a skipper in Ilulissat, Greenland, and has led a wide variety of tours in Denmark.

With the help of Polar Geographic, Christoffer has completed a series of relevant courses to prepare for work as a guide on expedition ships in the Arctic and Antarctic. Over the past year, he has successfully completed:

• Polar Bear Safety and Rifle Training Course
• Svalbard Rifle Handling Permit (“Løyve-bevis”)
• Marine Engine Maintenance Course (Motorpasser)
• VHF Radio Operator Certificate (ROC)
• Medical Kit C – Disease Manager at Sea
• Zodiac Driver Training
• AECO Certificates (Greenland & General AECO Guidelines)
