a look behind the scenes
I made this page to give you a feel for what Polar Geographic is all about — not just what I offer, but how the training actually looks and feels.
Here you’ll find a mix of photos, short stories from the field, testimonials from past participants, and a few behind-the-scenes moments from our training site by the beach at Øresund Strandpark and our training centre in Dragør Harbour. You’ll also see glimpses from my own time guiding in the Arctic, Antarctic, and even a few shots from my expedition across Greenland and my expedition to the South Pole together with my good friend Kristian Joos. Here we became the first danes to walk on skis to the Geographical South Pole.
Whether it’s Zodiac driving, rifle training, or mentoring new guides, I hope it gives you a better sense of the experience — and maybe even inspires you to jump in.

Sharing What I’ve Learned
It has been a real pleasure getting to know Gregers. He is truly exceptional, always attentive, available, and enthusiastic about sharing his deep knowledge of the polar regions. His passion for the Arctic is contagious, and he generously offers practical advice and valuable insights drawn from his experience. Thanks to his guidance, I’ve been able to deepen my understanding of these unique environments, and I genuinely hope to improve even more in the future, and who know! Maybe sail together in North.
