Zodiac training

Get hands-on experience driving a Zodiac MK5 — just like the ones used on expedition ships. We’ll cover everything from basic handling to gangway landings

• Duration: 1 to 3 days
• Price: 1,000 DKK per hour or 9.600 DKK for a full 3-day course
• Certificate: Issued upon successful completion

Great for beginners or experienced guides who want to brush up and build confidence in a realistic setting.

Please Note:
This is a practical training course designed to build real-world skills and confidence handling a Zodiac MK5. While participants receive a certificate outlining the proficiencies covered, this is not yet a formal certification course (such as RYA Powerboat Level 2). The training is based on hands-on experience and best practices from the expedition industry.

Polar Bear Safety & Rifle Handling

Learn how to stay safe in bear country with calm, practical training. We’ll cover theory and live-fire rifle handling in a supportive environment — no previous experience needed

• Duration: 1 day
• Price: Contact for current pricing (usually based on range rental, ammo, and instructor fees)
• Certificate: Issued upon successful completion
• Support for applying for the so called “Låneløyve” through the Govenor of Svalbard

Perfect for expedition staff or scentists heading to Svalbard or other polar bear regions

Just starting out? I’ll help you prepare for your first contract — with tips on field routines, public speaking, how to give your first onboard lecture, and what to expect on an expedition team

• Duration: From 1 hour and up (we’ll tailor it to your needs)
• Price: 500 DKK per hour. Lets talk about it when we create an overview of what you need.
• Certificate: Optional letter of completion available on request
